Meet your Advisor

Brian Barrett is a financial advisor and has been with New York Life since 2018. He takes an education first, planning second approach to his practice with an emphasis on strategies that address most urgent financial goals first.

Brian is originally from Monterey and Southern California. He moved to Sonoma County to attend Sonoma State University, and graduated in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in business marketing.

Outside the office, Brian serves as a board member for the Active 20-30 club of Rohnert Park, as well as Common ground Society. Both organizations serve youth and families in need throughout Sonoma County.

Brian and his wife, Evelyn, enjoy getting outdoors as much as possible. They often go hiking, golfing, and being near the water. They live in Santa Rosa with their newborn daughter, Emma.
